Sporting Equipment Grants – Now Open

Is it time to update your sporting club equipment?

The Australian Sports Foundation currently has grants open for sporting clubs to use for sporting equipment and uniforms.

The Active Kids grant program is generously funded by the Dickinson Foundation in partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) and aims to improve the physical and mental health of children and young Australians by encouraging and/or increasing sports participation through the provision of uniforms and equipment to eligible community organisations.  

Swimming clubs can use this to purchase new uniforms as well as new basic swimming equipment for day to day use. Money that would’ve been put into this equipment/uniforms can then be invested elsewhere to help promote growth.

The Active Kids Grants are available for volunteer-run community clubs and organisations with members aged 20 or younger.

You must be a member of the Australian Sports Foundation.

Grants will be awarded in the form of free sports equipment and on-field or training uniforms, to be supplied by ASF partners HART Sport and ISC.

Grant round opens: 9am (AEST) Wednesday 7 September 2022
Grant round closes 5pm (AEDT) Friday 7 October 2022
